I think Bob Bong is a better grower then Harddon was. He just used CFL and not real control of the environment. Latewood is better at build stuff then Harddon was and more open to share his success and failures with everyone so they can learn.
Please we don't need any more posts like those. He did behave himself but only after being banned a few times to get his attention.
Harddon was a good grower and liked to help people but I feel there are many still on this forum that are better.
Just a personal opinion.

I agree with Z
It was more HD's personality quirks that some of us enjoyed rather than his growing prowess.
My personal faves for grow knowledge are Zandor, Garden Knowme, Latewood, and of course Mand (for her simlicity approach and charm) and there are others that I am currently forgetting.
I just started my second indoor grow and it is my first hydro attempt. I have a local big-grower helping me get started but I cherish the resources here for new ideas and different approaches.

you can learn something from everyone, even making mistakes is a learning process

...unless you have done it and, possibly failed
...it is all about everyone learning to take care of themselves  ...If we
can all accomplish that; then...
we accomplished ...something special! :smokin:
I like when Woody Harrelson speaks of being "self-substantial" as he puts it...
his home community...they have no eletrical wires, use windmills and solar panels for power...they grow there own...hmmmm...vegetables and hemp isused in there everyday life...they drive diesel powered vehicles; powered by ethanol with vegetable oil...
Did you know that diesels engines were designed to run on vegetable oil?
later . peace . latewood, thanks
