A scientist by the name of Myles Allen says: "If science can nail climate change as a pobabable cause of deadly weather events like the 2003 heatwave that hit europe, then global warming becomes a matter for the product liability law. Get the big oil companies in court and sue the pants off them...even the threat of action will change their behaviour more readically than any government policy."
