Unlike addictive drugs, marijuana causes almost no tolerance
ok i had the first smoke i've had in a couple of weeks last night and i was totally messed up. i tried explaining to my freind the theory of weed not being something you build a tolerance to and it sounded even more like bullshit.

Think about it, though. If you hadn't have breathed oxygen in the past couple weeks, your oxygen-intake would've felt like Heaven. You don't build up a tolerance to Oxygen. If it's possible.

I grow my own oxygen.
I've been thinking about it...I'm not sure if I ever built up a tolerance to shit-weed, just (eventually) discovered it.

if i hadn't breathed oxygen for a couple of weeks i'd be dead. if this is your scientific approach at convincing me that cannabis has no tolerance then i'd go and re-think your approach.

ok i concede the are different types of tolerance physio/psychological, and the fact that there doesn't seem to be evidence for a lethal dose is in some way linked to it.
if what i think your saying is that my brain forgets what being stoned is like after a rest from it. then surely if i smoke for a while and it gets used to being stoned again and i therefore smoke more weed to get stoned then there is at least psychlogical response at work here. whatever it is i still end up increasing my doses to get the same effect. That = tolerance.
