No, that is wasting it big time.

You've gotta use a bong, and a very high temperature lighter for it to work effectively. (torch lighters work fine)

Bong - Bubbler - or long glass, acrylic, or plastic piece.

I wouldn't recommend metal, a bit too harsh.

Have a glass of water handy, some people believe that salvia has a bad taste to it. Me personally see nothing wrong with it.

Regular lighters DO work but NOT AS WELL as torch lighters.

Keep the flame on the salvia the entirity of the hitting process.

Hold in the salvia for 20-30 seconds and slowly exhale.

Give it 2 minutes..take another hit.

If nothing happens after two good sized hits..put it down..and do it again the next day.

The first time I tried it I thought it was bullshit. Smoke a little more later..and I was good for the going.

Then put butane in the torch I bought, and now I trip balls every time.

Rolling it is highly ineffective.

If you have leaves you can roll the entire leaves into a blunt and chew and suck on them for a long amount of time.

People find this to give them sores in their mouth, bad tastes, very bad dry mouth or scratchiness in the throat. Although the effects of this CAN BE more intense and longer lasting, smoking is the best way.

IF you have a vaporizer that can heat to high temperatures you CAN vaporize the salvinorium A and only smoke the active chemical instead of the carcinogen chemicals as well.

You can also buy liquid Salvinorium A and drop it under your tongue. From what I've heard it is more intense and about the same amount of time but can last longer than smoking.

All in all, the most effective and easy way of using salvia is through any kind of plastic, acrylic, or glass piece.

If you had a 20X extract, how much would you smoke? Just a pinch, do the same amount as you would with the weaker extracts for the stronger effects?
