    lightbulbs?

    i feel pretty stupid but will the regular lightbulbs in a lamp do anything? I have 2 that give off 2500 lummens, would that belp i am new to growing and i am catious about outdoor growing because stuff keeps happening to my plants.

    lighting question's are better handled in the indoor growing section...there are 2-3 threads you could read, before you start asking Q's...

    yeah those lightbulbs will do something, and kill the plants from the a`lot of heat too.

    cfl's, 100w (really 26w) is good for starting off the plant (even just one) when it peaks its lil' head from the dirt to about 6" tall from what i've done, then switching to true 105w cfl or multiple 26w will work.

    as u can tell i use alot of floro, but mh bulbs work just as well or even better depending on point of views. I kept with floro because it worked for me the first time and i never saw need of change. (nor do I currently have money to do so. lmao)
