Sexy Orange Skunk; grow from scratch using super starter organic plugs...............
...from smoker's bean labs...
1st I would like to paste this method of seed starting; I just posted @
TYdot, Thanks...later.peace.latewood:I just bought some super start/rapid rooters...organic plugs, I'm going to try, because I prefer hydro, but I have taken to:
1. mixing up moist soil (I use Schultz orchid/perlite moistened with ph'd ro water from my deep well) and filling as many 1 gallon pots as I need.
2. I then take something pointed and poke hole 1/2 inch deep in soil.
3. Drop seed in hole.
4. place under cfl's at 3-4inches from topsoil, misting when needed...when sprout pokes up; place small fan on spout to stimulate stem growth. mist when needed. imholatewood Reviewed by latewood on . Sexy Orange Skunk; grow from scratch using super starter organic plugs...............
Sorry it took so long for me to get this grow thread started...Well we have sprouts and we are posting up what we have so far...
I started 5 pak of Sexy Orange Skunk (SOS) a cross of
Burmese F'in Incredible/California Orange x Skunk #1
1. 10-29...These Glad deli containers are great for starting seeds...look at all the condensation; It has been in oven for 36-40 hours
2. Starting to detect life...
3. 10-31...Officially DAY 1...
4. I re-use my hydroton. To clean it I soak it in Hot water using Dawn w/bleach dishwashing liquid...then I rinse in collander...hot water cold water...rinse, rinse, rinse, OK, now we are ready to put sprout/rapid rooter in netpot filled with hydroton, and into DWC

I am hoping that these take good, because this will make growing in hydro even easier thatn it already is!
Anyway we now have to place the rapid rooter into the hydroton filled netpot.
1. Place enough hydroton in bottom of netpot to allow top of rapid rooter to come about a 1/2 inch below rim...
2. carefully backfill hydroton around rapid rooter until you have a layer of hydroton covering top of rapid rooter...this allows you to add another layer, once the seedling has cleared the rim of netpot.
3. when you place netpot in DWC...make sure water level is right up to the bottom of netpots...insuring that air bubbles/water will soak hydroton and moisten rapid rooter.
4. Set netpots in DWC system and adjust lights...
5. someEYE CANDY:dance:...A table of trim from my PHAZE II cloning experiment...Still have 3 of the main kolas left hanging in the main room...the small kola on the middle right metal screen is a SKUNK that I inherited. Did a flower/finish and clone from this family...OK smoke, waiting on cure?/...Re-vegging 'mother for this.../...deep white oval container is the top 80% of my Orchid mix experiment...this is a nice smoke...small yield,
also re-vegging this plant for mother...Once I have mothers, I will stop growing from seed and just clone, clone, clone...
...tidbits...
I am just Rambling; :stoned: waiting for my attachments. This should be a fun grow...when they veg, I am going to transfer them to aero/drip system...
I just ordered 3 twirling sprinklers  I can't wait for them to come in...
OK, folks, I will keep you updated...will all five sprout?...will they all live?...
Well...I wonder...hmmm, latewood

I took a couple of pics of my three new babies...in pic 2 notice seed casing,
hanging off sprout...this is OK,don't worry about it, it will fall off eventually.
!WARNING!...Do not pull this casing off, it has a membrane attached, and you could kill your new plant...
pic 3 is my blueberry clones...I keep them in the same closet. By coincidence, we will have a side by side of SOS seedlings/MB/BBJ clones. ...latewood
If you have any question's and/or disagree with my methods; Please let me know so that we can kick it around
