Depends on temps, but Ideally a foot or two. A foot would be better though, considering the large amount of light energy lost through space travel...

I thinks it's about 5 feet right now..
gonna' fix it in aproximatly 2 hours..!

Until all the suger is exausted... you see the little bubbles coming up now and then from the bottle? That's co2.. it's created when the yeast eats up the sugars in the bottle, when it stops, simply add another 2 cups of sugar and shake again.. I've had them last weeks at a time
