I live in the US and I also put something (a strip of the paper packaging) in the end of my joints so I can smoke all of the weed I rolled, and so I don't end up with any of my weed in my mouth. I've always called it a crutch though.

I've never put a crutch in the joint, but they're good for holding roaches so you don't burn your hand.

Yea, here in the UK our roaches are completely different. I roll my joint American style though, coz it's way better. Fuck tobacco and fuck people mixing it in their joints.

Good shit man, keep it that way. When someone passes me a joint that i know has baccy in it i still toke it but i hate the tase, it ruins it for me. This one friend like fills up the rizla with all tobacco then adds like a little weed on top. He sickens me.

I've never seen anyone around here (South Wales, UK) roll a joint pure - they've always used tobacco, and I've never seen one without a roach, in the form of a small roll of card in the end of the joint.
