    Greenlands icecaps are thickening??

Global warming describes a global climate change that will the planet generally warmer, although some places (like southern Europe) are getting a little cooler. And the Ice caps in the South Pole and other areas of the Artic are melting quite rapidly.

I notice it right here in my home town, and I've got lots of pictures from my childhood to prove it, and so does my father. 10, 20 years ago, there used to be much more snow, and it would last longer. These passed 10 years, the snow has been constantly diminishing. To me, those are signs of global warming.

i will go with scientists who say it reflects the changes occuring on the sun.

and if its real and it makes the winters warmer with less snow, im all for it. but at that rate in the year 2500,chicago will be the perfect temp all year round.

It would be cool to have different parts of the globe with constant climates.

Like... fire world! and... ice world! and... rain world!

(Nothing of value to add, sorry...)

Maybe, but it's even hard for her when humans are spewing toxic gases without concern, mowing down trees like they're obstacles and killing off all the other animals... :stoned:

Yes, ignore science because it is in conflict with your idealogy, that makes perfect sense. Why, exactly do you favor the destruction of the world? In who's economic interest is it to destroy the planet? Time to start believing your lying eyes, or do you think the hurricane that hit florida wasn't REALLY named Wilma? My spelling isn't the best in the world, but I think that is a "W" Science is a scam, that mushroom cloud over Hiroshima was simply a hoax perpratrated by the liberals. Wait, no, that would mean the war in Iraq was based on the mistaken belief that nucleur weapons are possible. When in dought, I will believe scientists over politicians 8 days a week.
