The subjects you mention can easily apply, and often do, to people over the age of eighteen. In addition, I doubt there aren't many adolescents better equipped intellectually to keep up with an adult forum than some adults themselves. You also seem to forget that youngsters aren't the only people who create immature threads, or leave egregious comments all over the forums.

It wouldn't hurt to have like a "seasoned tokers forum or something. Not necessarily an indicator of age, but a forum for veteran stoners. I think it has a lot more to do with experience than age.

Where are you getting the money to buy it? Have you ever thought about getting an after school job to keep busy and learn something about working? How about things like art, writing, or mastering a musical instrument? You are still in the process of growing, mentally and physically, and weed is NOT something that facilitates these very important stages of development in adolescents.

I wouldn't deny any teenage kid their right to rebel, experiment, and engage in some "adult" things once in a while, like at parties - but at 14 you are just too young to get high like this. It won't kill you to wait a few years. Get a new hobby and immerse yourself in it â?? youâ??ll soon forget that you were ever â??boredâ?�, and may be surprised to discover that you can develop talents that you never knew you had â?? but youâ??ll have less, if any, success at this if youâ??re getting high at too young an age.

I never had any kids, so it's not like I'm laying a "parent" rap on anybody. I've experienced enough to know that herb is not the answer to boredom - at any age, especially for the very young.

i have a job. i play trombone for my symphonic band and jazz band. and im not saying im using it to get over boredom. i should of put "its one more thing to look forward to after school" I also make the honor roll every semester and have got 4.0 a couple times.

Great! I figured you for a smart guy, but your other postâ??s unassuming manner belied your talents, motivation, and overall ability to be headed for success in many areas. You are doing exceptionally well, and if you don't overindulge with weed, alcohol, other drugs, etc., you'll be fine.

You did not read my reply (the second one) to the guy's answer. After he explained that he was on top of the important things that I had mentioned, such as schoolwork, having a job, involvement with music, etc., I said that he was doing very well. All we know is what people write here. If they start out using bad grammar, sounding like they are slacking off, using weed as a crutch to escape reality, and not developing other interests, this gives a very bad first impression.
