just cuz south park was made after ren & stimpy doesn't mean that ren & stimpy can't be based on the south park creators. the south park creators existed before ren & stimpy. im sure they were funny and popular before south park :thumbsup:

I've been watching both for years, and R&S ended before South Park started.

But I havn't backed it up, so we could argue all day about who's right and it wouldn't make a difference in anything.

ah... let me clarify: the fact that Ren & Stimpy are a gay couple is common knowledge verified by the show's creator. The South Park connection was a joke of the variety that isn't funny once you have to explain it.
