Lights in a SCroG cabinet

hello all, i am currently fixing up a cabinet to be set up for a mini base for a scrog grow. My question is what the best wattage hps light for the cabinet. The dimensions are : 5' tall, 2' wide and 2' deep. I was thinking of using a 400 watter, but worry that it may burn the plants... a 250 maybe... but would that be powerfull enough to penetrate the scrog canopy? Ha sorry to be so lengthy but im mighty baked ha... so thank you in advance


if aqua teen hunger force was a girl, i'd marry it.... i mean... most likely we'd get divorced, cuz we'd fight alot but we'd stay friends and still have sex, cuz she'd be cool like that ha ha

how are you gonna dump the heat?A carbon air filter with a strong enough in-line fan will exhaust heat&odor at the same time,good reflective surface will maximize the lamp output(foylon or flat white paint)on all sides and top....bonbon

i have odor and the fans all worked out and the inside is painted flat white but what do you think about my lighting question? what wattage would you say is best bonbon?

oh sorry, i just read the tittle of your post, thank you very much for your advice bonbon, i appreciate it it. Good growing. I am thinking of taking some pictures when i get it up and running so stay tuned to see how it goes. peace

If you thinking of creating something really good you should think of buying a cool tube and istalling a 400W HPS.. Or the alternative I believe is to istall one red and one blue envirolights 200W. These wont give u a problem with heat. Very cool and can be placed near your plants without burning them.
