    Yo, i need to calibrate my scale, but i have no calibration weight, anyone know somethign that ways exactly 100 grams that would be around?

    I thought you just "zeroed it" which is put the container on the scale, and press 0, and the scale figures out how much weight the container is, and discards that weight every time something is put into it.

    not 100gs, my buddie uses a nickel, cause coins all way the same. unfortunatly i don't know what it's saposed to way.***scraching head*** damn short term memory.

    I would go to ace hardware or some other hardware store. There might be some fishing weights or simple weights that you can use to calibrate a scale.

    All of you are telling him how to tare the scale or different objects to use as reference. He's asking for something to calibrate it with.

    Use Nickels they wiegh 5 grams each.

    go to any science supply type store found on a college campus they have brass weights in just about any wheight you could possily need ranging from .5 grams to the almighty kilogram
