Insurance Rates v. Tax
This is a quote from the article on the home page titled, "Point and Counterpoint"
Let us assume that if their actions do not harm other people that everything is acceptable. Then we still have to face the fact that insurance costs more for everyone. For those insured by their work, the cost of that insurance is affected by those who abuse alcohol or have lung problems and so everyone has to pay for one personā??s solitary vice. This is ignoring the cost of treatment for those who have poisoned their livers with alcohol or those who are injured by drunk drivers.
I started considering this for a little bit throughout the day, and while I was driving around the city, this thought came to mind:
Would increased insurance rates be more costly than the tax money that currently goes towards keeping cannabis offenders in jail? If no, then I believe you can exclude that point from his argument.zooted999 Reviewed by zooted999 on . Insurance Rates v.
