those are some nice looking plants fugitive...

pretty soon I am going to be growing with CFLs from start to finish. How many CFLs are you using and what is the wattage of each. Also, what is the light spectrum of your bulbs (warm white - 2700k vs. cool white - 5000K)

I would appreciate any help you can give me as this is my first time growing and I really hope my plants end up looking like yours.

ok so I went back and read a little closer after I posted. From what I could tell you have two 21 watt warm bulbs and a 125 watt warm bulb along with one 11 watt cool bulb and a 125 watt cool bulb.

do you have all these lights on your plants at the same time?

Thanks Mand and Machiavelli fingers crossed I will find one tomorrow
Towel the setup that you have now I believe is made of cool white spectrum fluoros? if so then that will be very good for the first month or so What I have in my grow room at the moment is two 125W warm spectrum Envirolites purchased here www.starlitesystems.co.uk you will have to buy a E40 ceramic lamp holder, ask by e-mail. And the two 21 CFL are just there for the Ooomph although im pretty sure theyre not doing much.

lol thats cool you remembered what I have...yes they are cool white floros. I am still not sure whether I want to try to flower under CFLs. I am going to the hydro shop today so I can get a price on an HPS setup.

Another sad update it just isnt my day today been travelling to garden center after garden center on my bike with no luck of finding a watering system, I even went to homebase first trying to tell them that it even existed was a pain in the ass ! then waitnig for response from 'manager' which was there is one, but we don't sell it lol! pissed me off..I guess I just live in a shitty South London area which have dumbass SHOPS! grrrrrr... Does any one know an alternative? is there any way of watering my plants with say something home made?
