I have a huge paper on the subject. He was a super dick. But a pawn of the Powers. He and J Edgar were the bull dogs of the Powers as they took our country and raped it. Cannabis is such a small part of the story, yet 800 trillion dollars is what they have made from its illegalization in profits. So that is some dosh. Mostly on synthetics that took the place of industrial and medical cannabis at that time. Cant patent a weed, but sure can a synthetic! better living through chemistry.
I HATE those guys!

UGH I feel like a retard. I gave a speech on legalizing marijuana the other day and i SWEAR TO GOD i came upon a site that quote Anslinger as saying "marijuana leads to non-violence and pacificism" as in, he was backing it up. My source must have been fucked up.. i sure hope my teacher doesn't research my quotes.....

How dare those darkies think they're on the same level as us and have sex with our women!
I've said for years that if you support the war on drugs you support racism. Even if you look into the history of opium, the first city to ban it was San Francisco, and it wasn't even banned in the whole city. It was only illegal in Chinatown (I wonder who they were targeting), so if you were in a white part of the city, you waste your life away in a dream....
But seriously, if you're interested in thing that Anslinger did that were fucked up here's another one: The La Guardia Committee Report (note the conclusions under the sociological study) was published in 1944 And the first thing Anslinger does is have the white house discredit it. After this report came out, he also convinced FDR that if scientists had access to pot for study, it would compromise national security. Also if anyone came out with a pro pot stance they were automatically labeled communists.
All the war on drugs has done is promote poverty, racism, elitism and gummed up our prison system top the point that they let murderers out early so they can lock up a non-violent drug offender. The next time someone says they support the war on drugs, call them a RACIST and BIGOT!

Yes, after a couple of decades claiming marijuana was the most violence causing drug in the history of the world, when it was in the hands of white woman/music corrupting negroes and revolutionary mexicans pre-WWII, without blinking an eye or facing nary a question from anyone but Theo Laguardia, Anslinger did indeed begin to claim that it was being used by the commies to corrupt our soldiers' will to fight post WWII.

No, your report is correct. Once it was illegal many killers, robbers, in fact everyone used cannabis as an excuse. After all if it drives you to insanity then maybe that is why you beat that guy to death. So within about 2 years they went totally the opposite and said it leads to lethargy, and loss productivity in life, peace loving. Certainly not something to blame for killing anyone. Too many people were escaping jail and Anslinger was actually testifying in court cases that it drove you to insanity. Big daddy Mellon told him to stop the testimony and change the message. Jails must be filled to keep the corporate profits of Jail Inc. up. You do know that jails are private corporations designed to maximize profits on their "assets."

I know I only make short comments. I am just lazy.
The next documentary on weed should talk about how users on Cannabis.com come together to socialize freely via the internet. A tool that is helping with the organization and fight for decrimilization.

You know if the U.S. Gov't was that corrupt backthen with the cannabis & race issue, just think how criminal they have been for the past 40yrs or so, especialy these last 5 yrs. Just think about. See the kind of stuff they pulled to make cannabis a crime along with blacks & mexicans, Just think about what they would do to go to war to gain certain prize to gain more riches.. Remember 911 and all the oddity surrounding it..
