Spanish court orders arrest of US soldiers for war crime
sweet I get to kill random journalists and I dont gotta be punished when I go in

mistakes are made. Those reporters get shitloads of pay because the chances of gettin killed are very high. shit happens, and the reporters took the risk of jumping in a toilet and hoping not to get shit on.

Oh, I agree. They assume a huge amount of risk simply by stepping foot into a war-zone. But, as much as you'd like to make that the issue, it simply isn't. The issue is US soldiers firing on a non-combative building and their officials trying to cover up the subsequent deaths by refusing to cooperate with Spain.
I just want to see credit given where it is due. If it was a mistake, why not own up to it and return Spain's phone calls? Avoiding the situation and making fun of them is asinine and only pushes the situation onto very shady ground.

~shrug~ Im not in the loop on those things. Neither is anyone here, or any of the people that write the stories that get posted here. Theres more to every story, even when it sounds as basic as 1 + 1. But unlike a lot of people here, Im not going to comment on the stuff that I can not possibly know, since no one but a few select people know it anyways. The most you can do is speculate/throw out blame because you need to blame someone.

So I can't form an opinion because all stories are always bigger than they are reported to be to the public yet journalists have no business in a war zone? I'm not really following your logic here. Finger-pointing and blame aren't what I'm after. I guess I'm just tired of the lies and cover-ups in the name of "safety" for Americans. I want the truth, good or bad.

No I was referring to this part. Sorry if it wasnt, but I took it as a direct question. And my reply is, Im not going to pretend to know and spew shit out of my ass like some people. Opinions are fine, presenting assumptions, even logical ones, as a fact is just stupid though. Id be willing to bet money that that tank shell was meant for somewhere else. Or maybe a misfire altogether. Although this story Erm posted seems to head in the direction that it was a media coverup. Yeah, 2 of the hundreds of reporters gone. Now the media cant report anything bad!

I guess I'd just like to see some compassion. These were people doing their job's and were killed by mistake. "Yeah, 2 of the hundreds of reporters gone. Now the media cant report anything bad!" Statements like that make me wonder what all the fuss is about. If we can kill 2 innocent people without even acknowledging it then what's wrong with terrorists killing thousands? People make mistakes, it is a man's job to admit them however.
