It will be fine but they are not in the same leage as HID lights. The do cost a lot less then HID to run and that is a plus but no where close to the lumens HID's put out.

    envirolite??

I got 2 blue 125w envirolites recently, just as cloning lights but ive added 1 to my budroom and 400 hps to brighten up that sickly yellow. They are realy cool but i find they are too big and bulky, specially hanging down with no reflector. i think the 200 watt ones are even bigger..

    envirolite??

Hi have started a grow of Snow White with a 125watt blue envirolite switching to the red next week on 12/12, planning on keeping only 2 females.

I'm growing in BioBizz All-Mix useing Bio-grow , bio-bloom, topmax. and have "formulex nutrient solution" for the roots.

The light is about 2 inch above the plants.
I will take some pictures soon and update. while i sort that has any one have any idea on improving this or what i would yeild from this . Any help from the pros would be great. THX Keep smoking

    envirolite??

thing is u need small plants like lowrider for those lights.. or like hang a few and round the sides etc.. i doubt ur gona produce much dense bud ;( even my 400 watt sodium isnt enough usually

    envirolite??

u did ask if it would be as effective as a 400 watt. simply its a no... get a 400 watt sodium.. blow an 8-10" fan directly on it and if posss put an extractor on constant on ur closet out....... with a hole or 2 lower down on front or side to draw in air manually..

shame to see snow whites under envirolites i think. maybe in a SOG theyd be more efficiant....? seein as u chop the lower lot off.
