You mention some good points, as you are undoubtedly an intelligent and moral person, and perhaps horror movies are a bad analogy. However, I'm going to reiterate the point of my original post: we cannot jump to conclusions from a single clip. Things aren't so black and white.. there exists that proverbial gray area. Life, social interaction, the human brain.. all very complex things which are composed of and influenced by limitless variables. I believe that it is incorrect to assume so much from so little. That's all.

And I defend this sort of behavior because I'm sure that all of us have been undeservedly stigmatized at one or another point in our lives. True, it can bring nothing positive to the world, (Well, even that is debatable. And no, I'm not talking about the viewer senselessly murdering people. Heh.) but at the same time, it needs to be considered what harm it could bring us. I believe that an individual's capability to cause harm is within himself.
