He then killed a asshole for fucking with him. (ie. waking up to a pillowcase slamming your head with drink cans in it). He used a pitchfork prong.

county jail is for misdemeanors with sentence lasting one year or less. And as I said scarlett whether they should be there or not is irrelevant to the hardships of prison. Thats a seperate matter.

County jail is for all suspected "felons" (ie orange suits), " Misdermeaners" (ie green suits) crimanals. Until your prosessed and moved you can hang out with all those involved in crime! Drunkdrivers, Drugdealers, Bad check writers, Driving whitout a license. Possesion and all that comes with it. ECT. You can be a trusty and wear blue. LOL.

Most of those crimes are misdemeanors... But yes it can be used as a processing center untill you are sentenced. But your still not serving any of your time in county, your waiting to serve your time at federal. PS colors vary from state to state and even county to county in some cases.
