Changing the colors of a "bonsai tree"..

Have you ever seen blue roses? Arent they made artificially? Put in to soil and then given some coloring?

I've seen these little bottles of color that you put in food to give it color..

Isn't it possible to put a little bit of that in a liter of water and the feed it to the "Bonsai tree" instead of normal water?

Then you could try, maybe you could make some artificial Purple haze or somehting!

What do you think? Could it die or something? Or maybe has someone already tried it?

could be worth a try if your having a SOG, just feed the colored water to one of them..!

isnt hydro liquids differant colors, it doesnt change the color of bud as far as i know

if this would work all the plants growing in soil would be the same color.

once in awhile youll find someone that says it works to flavor the water, but it doesnt work.

some people do add a fragance to their jars of bud, that works, but why try to cover up the natuaral odor ?

YES. It will work. I brought this concept up a few months ago but it never really caught on. It took alotta research and a few mistakes but I found out that food coloring was safe to use, but it's made up 90% coal tar derivatives and will stunt growth in its early plant life. I reccomend watering with 1 whole little squirt thing (tiny little bottles each color comes in) to a gallon for the last couple of watering before the final flush. And wuala! Purple haze! Just throw in half a red and half a blue to a gallon for purple, half yellow half blue for a rich rich green, etc etc.. It's your choice!

Anyone have pictures of buds treated with food coloring? I'm curious to see how intense the colors might get.

Here's a pic of some bag seed bud (not sure on strain) treated with a purple hue.... Now for some reason I guess it's a little harder for the actual pistils to uptake the coloring, so you might not get completely colored buds but ALL the foliage will turn a rich dark purple like in the pic
