I am a good son and there is nothing wrong with getting high every now and then, just like you enjoy a few glasses of wine every so often. When I am sober, you can talk to me and explain why you think marijuana is evil, but not right now because I just want to relax and have a goodnight. Thanks mom. Love you!" If you try and hide it from your parents you are acting like you are guilty of doing something wrong. And they most likely think it's wrong in the first place so you are just supporting their belief. Do you think smoking cannabis is a bad thing? If not, then stop acting like it is. If you are responsible with the rest of your life then it will be a lot easier for your parents to understand. But if you are getting into trouble a lot, doing crappy in school, and smoking cannabis excessively then you don't have any real proof that it's not all the fault of cannabis. And your parents will think it is. Kids need to get smart and everyone needs to be more open about their use of cannabis, for people to start accepting it more.
