Whether you are walking from the parking lot to clock in at work, or you want to hide it from your parents; smoking outside is the thing to do. I recently found rolling papers that mimic ciggarettes with filters. Called "Urban Wraps." I just grind up some bud, put it through the cigg machine, and then put a drop of flavoring called "Tasty Puff" on the tip. I'm an RA in the dorms here at UNT, so toking in my room is no option. Possession is "legal" in California only if you have a certified medical reason and a note from you're doctor stating so. Beyond that a lot depends on where you are in California as different counties have their own laws. In many places the penalty for a small amount is so light that it might as well be legal. Here in San Jose, most people I know who've been busted with a small amount, including myself, just had the weed taken away, nothing more. Of course it would be better to get busted with one 1/4 bag (you're a stoner) than seven 1gram bags(you're a dealer).

Yeah I live in East San Jo, no one really gives a f*ck if you smoke, everyones smoking all day all night.
