I have been noticing a trend lately from a few people that talk like this "wut i wonna know is for realz tho if buds bad for ya becuz i gotta say i liek smokin n stuff" Ok not my best impression of what I've been seeing but anyone else notice things like this? There is no excuse for illiteracy unless you do have a mental retardation. Which I am in no way insulting people like that. I would never do that. But come on you have people who have attended schools and that are bright enough to know better but still cannot spell.

I agree with Sawleaf. If someone wants a question answered, they should type in a way for everyone to understand what they are saying. I think a lot of grow queries go unanswered because no one understands what the question asks. I can't decipher a lot of posts...sorry.

Sorry to be picky here mate but there are a great many differences between English and American English in the area of spelling. To me whenever people use a 'z' instead of an 's' in words that end 'ise' they are spelling it incorrectly, to you it would be the standard spelling.

English itself began as a bastardised language and has been constantly evolving over many centuries. New words enter the language, words become unused, and acceptable spelling changes with each new edition of a major dictionary.

In brief, if you can understand what is being conveyed what does it matter whether the spelling is correct in this month's dictionary?
