yea i'm not trying to get in a pitty contest...more to give you an idea of what's going to happen. both are true...only one is set yet the other hasn't even started trial yet (more than a year later)
1. my aunt was driving drunk, got in a accident and killed a family of a married couple and 2 kids....got a sentence of 15 years (think it was involuntary man slaughter)
2. my brother was murdered....(not proven yet but in cold bloood) his killler no matter what his charge is going to get a max sentence of 30 years (even if he never sees paraole..he will spend a max of 30 years in prison and no more by any means no matter how bad the jury finds him guilty..30 years...) so you can probably stop hoping for the best (tho he was only (and i use this term lightly, doesn't need to be family to be close) a friend a dealer, due justice will probably never be served....please dont' get mad at me or take your anger out on me...i'm just trying to give you an idea of what to expect....if it were up to me i'd lock up every drunk driver...because alcohol does something toyou inside...maeks you not give a fuck but to seek means for your own personal needs, or atleast that's what i've experienced in my family......good luck and if it were up to me i'd senetence him to life (no person that killls another person unless in self defense DESERVES death...why let them out so easy? i'd rather them spend the rest of their life in prison without parole suffering the hell only a prison can offer and not even hell can (if hell is real)
