Depending on where you live in Canada, it is already de facto decriminalized, especially in Vancouver. Remember though to that decriminalization and legalization are 2 different things. Decriminalization means it is still illegal. It does not try to take it out of the black market. Just implies they will not send you to jail for small amounts and will give you a fine. Legalization is where it is fully controlled and regulated by the government and it is taken out of the criminal market.

No country on Earth has legal marijuana. It is only tolerated still in Holland and they will arrest you if you carry a lot of weed or grow massive amounts, although it is probably just a slap on the rest.

As with Canada, hopefully they will legalize, not decriminalize in a few years. This will really send a message to the US government on how ridiculous drug laws are in a supposed "land of the free".
Pennsterdam Reviewed by Pennsterdam on . Canada Decriminalizing?????? I live in Ontario Canada and I've been reading a lot on how Canada is handling its dispute over the decriminalization of marijuana. I personally think that Canada will decriminalize weed in the next 3 years. Does anyone else agree?? Rating: 5
