    cant move

Ok so last night i smoked a sizable amount of herb and when i woke up this morning something really weird happened. It was like that time when you are sitting in bed and you are awake but still dreaming somewhat. I wanted to look at my clock so i tried to turn my head to look at it and i couldnt do it. like my head would not turn. I coulnt move at all. I mean i was still breathing so i knew i wasnt paralyzed and i could blink my eyes but that was it. I just layed there for about thirty seconds and then it just went away. and i could move. it definitly was a mental thing not a physical thing. It felt like my mind woke up but my body didn't so all i could do was just lay there. anyway it was hella creepy and really scary. I have no idea if this has anything to do with the pot i smoked but it only happened after a night of heavy smoking so maybe. has anyone else experienced this?. just wondering.

that happens to me all the time, herb or not. like once a week, more when i was younger i would sit down just after i woke up and zone out and think really hard about nothing. its really fun once you get used to it. in 3rd grade i would wake up real early and just sit there for 2 hours zoning the world out.

I get that a lot when I'm drifting off to sleep with a good buzz. The funny thing is I know that if I really wanted to I could move, but there is some mental block that keeps me from doing it. I usually have just enough time to think wow, this is pretty cool, and then I'm asleep.

What's even more strange is when I'm laying there almost asleep, and it feels like half of my body is asleep and the other half is awake. Pretty sweet, but it too only happens when I'm high.

yeah its called sleep paralysis. It happens to eveeryone at least once in their life, some many times. Its when your mind becomes concious when you are dreaming but your body is still asleep. "Sleep paralysis is a condition in which someone, most often lying in a supine (face up) position, about to drop off to sleep, or just upon awaking from sleep realizes that s/he is unable to move, or speak, or cry out. This may last a few seconds or several moments, occasionally longer."

yah, hasnt happen to me yet...when you sleep/dream your body muscles are shut down so you don't act out your dreams, some people wake up during that stage and cannot move.
