Drugman Joe Reviewed by Drugman Joe on 10-19-2005. acid headband In heard that Jimi Hendrix used to soak his headband in acid so he'd trip while he was playing, but i've also read stuff (fairly reliable, like his dad's autobiography) that he wasn't hardcore into drugs (nothing much more than weed and acid, no coke or needles) and that he never was high when he was playin. Is this just his dad trying to tell himself his son wasn't a big drugger, or is that headband thing a myth?? Rating: 5

i don't think he "soaked" it in acid. i bet he put e few hits up there for after the show and the sweat and heat made the shit run.

i actually know someone who knows someone who tried the headband thing. I don't know if he so much "soaked" it as just dabed some in there, but he got fucked as hell i heard. I think his car got stuck in a ditch and he couldn't figure out what to do. sounds sketchy to me...

well the guy buys acid, then a cop see's him buying the acid and runs... he runs through a field, where sprinklers are on... he then gets the acid wet from the sprinklers, and the acid basically absorbs into him and he trips like fuckin crazy haha :-)
