Hawaii - Should I Find it, Take it or Forget it?

I'm not sure my 10 days in Kauai will be the same if I go without. My sister (who has been ther last year) says I should ask the bartenders to see what they could do for me when I get there, or I could just drink & forget it. Most everyone says don't fly with it.... even to Hawaii.....

No don't even try to fly with it. The big thing in Hawaii is that it is a totally different ecosystem there and they are trying to prevent foreign plants and animals from getting in and ruining it. The airports have agriculture sniffing dogs everywhere to prevent things from entering and leaving. If you are going to Kauai you should be able to score okay, but honestly the islands are so beautiful you will have such a great time even if you don't.

Yeah, I have seen them because I have traveled quite a bit in the corporate world (mostly to Brazil & Europe).

I guess I thought they only did fruit, but they do all agriculture right? They would detect it? Why are German SH used for drug dogs then?

I'm sure they would detect it. Beagles and hounds have the best sense of smell of all the dogs. German shepards and labs which are used for drug searching are a lot more intelligent type dogs and can better understand what their handler wants them to do. They are just better and easier dogs to work with. But the hounds can pick up scents and zero in on them a lot better, that's why they use them to find a broader range of substances. The smarter dogs are used almost exclusively for drugs.

I was teetering on taking it, cause I thought I could seal it in plastic and then insert it in a shampoo bottle....with shampoo in it. Would they still smell it through that? I always wondered......

Anyways... My sis gave me the guys name she found it from...hope he is still there

Not if you dipped it in bleach. But make sure you wash your hands first so you don't get any smell on the outside of the bottle. There are companies that send bud from europe. They vacum seal it and dip it in bleach and are very very sucessful

I've gotten weed into 4 different countries, but, luckily there were no drug sniffing dogs anywhere. If there was, I'd probably be in some Mexican jail...ooh, I shudder at the thought. Take Sawleaf's advice and don't try it!
