College Football

I felt there needed to be a thread dedicated to all of the great games this weekend!

(1)USC 34 - (9)Notre Dame 31
Best game of the weekend, possibly the best college football game of the 21st century so far. The ending was even crazier if you think about how if Leinart doesn't fumble out of bounds with 7 seconds left, time runs out, and USC loses!

(4)Florida State 21 - Virginia 26
Shows that you can't win without a quarterback.

(6)Alabama 13 - Mississippi 10
'Bama kicks a FG as time expires to avoid OT and the upset.

(8)Penn State 25 - Michigan 27
Both teams score TDs in the final minute, but Michigan scores as time expires to finish the upset.

(11)Florida 17 - (10)LSU 21
Florida comes back from 14-0 down to take the lead, only to have LSU come back and win it.

And finally...
(12)UCLA 44 - Washington State 41
I'll finish up with this one just cuz I don't feel like writing anymore, and cuz UCLA is my team. After being down 21-0 and 28-7, UCLA comes back and sends the game into OT tied at 38. After holding WSU to a field goal to start OT, UCLA roars back with a TD and moves up to #8 in the polls.


Any thoughts about any of these games, or any others? I'm not a huge college football fan, but I can appreciate an awesome day of football anytime.

Go Wolverines, as a U of Miami fan growing up, I don't really like Testaverde and the Nittany Lions.

Did Syracuse win? Once they won the NCAA coll. basketball tournament, I shut off my TV.

damn i watched that usc game it was good i thought dame was gona win for sure but when i saw 2 min left on the clock i just say oh shit this game isnt over there way to much time usc is gona win there to damn good

I've been sick over the USC- ND game, I'm a huge Irish fan. I didn't expect them to win going into the game, but then they came so close.....heartbreaking... Go BAMA!! Hook'em HORNS!!!!!!!
