Houston, One out away...what a shame.
Was it one out or one strike?
Anyways, Albert Pujois, of the St. Louis Cardinals, kept the Houston Astros from going to their first World Series ever, when he went deep, last night.
I'm glad to see that somebody, someone is responding to threads I post on Sports. Any people from Houston, St. Louis, or Chicago on these boards???

Houston, One out away...what a shame.
they were 1 strike away multiple times. they were 1 strike away to eckstein too when he got on base. they may also have been 1 strike away to edmonds. i really like the astros because I lived in houston for a while, so that game last night made me very sad
fortunately, they have clemens and oswalt pitching for them in the next 2 potential series clinching games.

In '86, I still lived in Amsterdam, NY, and, being a Yankee fan, I was pretty opposed to the Mets. I like them now, but I still want Houston to get to the World Series.

I live in St. Louis, so needless to say, I was very happy. The Rams sucked huge balls last night... but I've always been a Packers fan since birth, so fuck teh Rams. Cardinals will be in the world series.

The Rams weren't sucking balls until Bulger went down. I've always thought Brent Favre was overrated, Dan Marino is the best. I'd like the White Sox to win the Series.
