Each switch is a power of two, starting from 1 at top left left. So each switch is worth 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 64, 128, etc... just flick them to make them add up to 1111. If you know binary numbers, this should be easy.

Ah fair enough, never noticed that, the first one isn't trial and error, there's a method. Don't want to post it though until plenty of people have tried.

i gave up in the end anyway.
the first one was easy shit though, i cant see how there would be a method, it's just trial and error.. i would of got it quicker but the green lights confused me
