Ok, in the chatroom right now, and having a discussion on whether smoking herb can make you crazy. I'm talking about only going insane while you're smoking it, with no mental health problems otherwise. SamoanLawyer seems to think that you can go "Crazy" by smoking pot, having no previous mental health history or allergies to it. I think that's crazy, because the only way marijuana can make you go insane, is if you were insane in the first place. Not talking about mental addictions and going crazy without smoking it... i'm talking about "Going Crazy for the sole reason of smoking pot". What's everyone think about it?

well every pot smoker i know is insane. most people i have ever met were insane. but i know very few people with mental problems. you need to better define "insane" man. im crazy as fuck but im not in a ward.

My dads had depression does that make him crazy. Never smoked cannabis. His mate smoke shit loads 5 joints an hour sometimes, to himself. He was unstable before weed so..........

I was discussing this with bman in the chatroom, along with other drugs, I have been smoking and growing pot for 21 years, thats like 5years before most of you were born.
In this time I have seen my cousin go schizophrenic, catatonic, My ex GF from 7 years ago absolutlely freaked out on pot, and was locked up for 3 years in an asylum (paranoid schizophrenic), and I have a good friend in jail who went Violently paranoid schizophrenic, these people touched no other drugs apart from occasionally getting pissed.
My point is that young people get the warm fuzzy tree hugging syndrome when they talk pot spouting things like "hey its all natural, it cant do shit to you" along with shrooms too .

Listen Im speaking from experience I have seen what MJ can do, now Im not spreading disinformation because MJ and Shrooms can bring about latent predispositions to schizophrenia, especially shrooms, dont beleive me? ring your local psych ward.

another point I was trying to make as the topic went from hard drugs to Mj and shrooms, was that no matter what kind of drug it is, moderation and recognition of what it does to you is the key to being a (for want of a better word) successful drug taker. I have smoked pot for 21 years, taken shrooms, E's coke speed , you name it. Pot is the drug of choice but even I know it affects me adversly sometimes, eg people shitting me more than usual, amotivation, not wanting to socialise with friends etc, the key is in recognising what its doing and slowing down on it for a while. Mostpotheads cant recognise shit and blame shit on everyone else, and spout shit like pot doesnt affect me at all meh meh meh


Ive been around the drug all my life mate, I know what it can do, some people cant handle pot and shit will happen.
