theoretically it would work...but since you're adding more liquid it wouldn't come out the same....you'd need atleast to add in some powder (it's for cooking can't think of the right name, but basicly it makes liquids thicker, i keep wanting to say baking powder but don't think that's it) i dunno do some research...i know you coudln't just throw a bunch of gummi bears in a pot and boil them down..there'd have to be some type of method...i'm thinking either adding them to water and bringing it to a boil then boil out the water (ther'es forumulas of how long to boil substances to remove so much liquid), or a double boiler...
