Can Someone tell me if i should start Nutes on this plant yet ?
are the yellow spot from no nutes ?

Nice lady bugs... plant may be close to Over watering... leaves look a loittle droopy... she looks good otherwise...

I think the nut question.. really depends a lot on what kind of soil you have used... what came in the soil ... its stock contents...

You are probably safe starting a light nut regiment... something that is heavy in Nitrogen..... If you are going to use CFLs for the entire grow, you should probably clone in the next week (7-10 days) and consider flowering in the next 14-17 days...

I don't think the burns on the outer edge on a coupple of your leaves is from too much nuts.. It really looks a lot more like a light burn.. I know the light is not close enough to burn it... but it looks like a light burn.. what can I say.. : )

a nut burn will start at the tip of the leaf.... and a nut defciency in proper PH'd medium will not usualy spot until the leaves become real light... they will become a very light green..

just like over nuting will make leaves turn a dark green before burn shows... unless of course you over nuted them by a shit load!!

Hey Thanks for the answer Garden Knowm, well i kinda thought i might of
over watered her tonight about 2hrs after i waterd her she started to droop.
ph is 6.5 as far as the soil mix it didnt have any nutes in it it was just some
off brand soil. i am planning to use peters 20 20 20 & Superthrive
tell me if you think that will be ok .

and as far as the lights i plan to use the CFL's for the whole time i have
6 of them i backed them off when she started to droop down i thought it was a heat issue so i left the door open and backed them off alittle.

Cloning i am not sure on how to do that not sure if i want too or not it depends on how much jepordy it will put her in i am going to have to read
some on that matter. thank you for the any and all the info you offer

You can bring the cfls down to 1/2 an inch.. and you should definitley keep them no farther than 1 inch... they are not droopng because of the lights, you should have a fan blowing.. it doesn't even need to be on the plants... with cfls, you just want the air moving.. no matter how light..

cloning is easy... just a little awkward the first time you do it.. nobody like to take a razor blade to their DARLING GIRL!! lol

do you have access to rockwool cubes?
Actually, do you have acess to a hydro store....?
you ideally will have

a razor blade
root gel/power
rockwool cubes
wilt spray

I have a picture diagram that I a making for my next project and it would be cool for you to check it out and see if it works for you.. : )

No i dont have any i will go to the hydro shop that is an hour away and get some rockwool cubes rootgel & wiltspray thanks for all the info

boy she LOOKS ALOT better this morning she is all perky again i will start
a verry weak nute mix of Peters 20 20 20 next watering unless i should use something elese other than peters

yeah, she looks a lot better. and bigger.

you may want to get a cloning tray and a lid... they are very very cheap at home depot.. 5 bucks or so.. eventually you will have a collection of these around your house... LOL

Too much nutes will burn her little toes off! I use a good quality soil and give nutes every 2wks, never over fertalize it doesn't do any good. When you water her you don't water the leaves with the lights on do you? this can cause burning??

hey Caroline i dont pour water on the leaves at all i may start to mist her in the future. with plain water +alittle Superthrive.but that would be all. She hasnt gotten any nutes yet in about 3-4 days i will give her her first dose
of Peters 20 20 20 @ 1/8 strenth + Superthrive 1/4tsp per Gal & 18/6 Lights
Fan on while lights are on

hey mark.... looks like ski uses superthrive and he doesn't nut until flowering.. check out the link.. sounds like he knows what he is doing...
