Keep them just a bit moist all the time for the first week.. Maybe add a couple table spoons of water everyday... you need to keep the dirt moist.. NOT muddy.. until they can establish some deep roots.. this could take 7-14 days..

you can keep the light 1 inch from the top of the plant.. no problem...

Pictures 1-3 is just an overview of my grow. I have no idea what size container that is, I'm just using it right now because I had a surprise seedling pop up after I thought it had died.
