I have to go in for surgery which requires me to give a semen sample for analysis (for sperm, sorry) before the operation. Should I be worried about them discovering that I have smoked recently or is this not something that would show up?

tell the doctor, no one else, that you smoke weed. doctor patient confidentiality forces him not to say a word about it unless there is a warrant for the information. if he tells the cops he's in a lot bigger trouble than you would be, and a good lawyer could probably get you off because of the way you were found out.

I am almost totally positive that they will only be testing your semen for your surgery.. it is highly unlikely that they will test your semen for trace amounts of THC. But yes, telling your doctor might be a good idea.

I fucking smoked the night of both of my surgery's and i'm okay i think.

I'm pretty sure that in order to do an actual THC test it is required that they inform you... I wouldn't be worried.

who are they gunna tell? the cops? you cant be charged for marijuana consumption in the past unless they caught you doing it when you were actually lighting up.....if he asks dont lie if they dont ask dont say anything

Yeah, if what they need the sperm for would be affected by THC I'm sure they would ask you if you smoke marijuana before the operation.So it might not matter, but if it bothers you that much just tell your doctor.And if he says anything tell me and he will go home one day to see his child hung from the ceiling fan and his wifes head nailed to the closet door.
