Death
Jesus was sentenced to death by crucifixion. He was beaten by Roman soldiers, scourged, stripped, and nailed to a cross. He was crucified between two robbers, and died.

Burial
His body was placed in the new tomb of a rich man named Joseph of Arimathea. Jesus had promised the disciples he would come back after he died. His enemies knew this. So, to prevent anyone from stealing the body, they had soldiers guard the tomb of Jesus.

Resurrection
On the third day after Jesus died, an angel descended, and the soldiers fled. The disciples came and found an empty tomb. Jesus had risen from the dead!
He later appeared to many believers, commanding them to teach and baptize others.

Well, I guess that Christians owe the Jews a debt of gratitude. If it were not for Jewish involvement, the savior would not have been able to accomplish what he came here to do: be sacrificed and provide vicarious atonement for his followers by shedding innocent blood for the sake of the guilty. Pilate also deserves respect, as does Judas. In fact, Judas was the most important one of them all - he turned Christ in to the authorities.

wait, wait wait! you found 'powerful words over the internet' that have been posted in every single bible??? how is any of this new??? it's been said literally billions of times...

it's that it gave me a more open look at it and while the words in the bible have always been there, an explanation from different views helps guide my understanding of it. sorry if you don't understand but apply to how you would learn something by understanding when trying to figure out something in science or a historical conspiracy. that's sort of the way i figure things out, and i don't care if you think it's fucked up or don't understand it, i'm just defending my stance.

maybe it inspired thoughts and maybe ideas that weren't completly there. i mean, inspiration is all relative to each person.

The power comes from the selection of words, Mr. D. There's not many, but this phrase, "Jewish leaders wanted to kill Jesus" shows an arrogance to the religion.
This one downgrades an entire country, "He was beaten by Roman soldiers, scourged, stripped, and nailed to a cross."
This one shows the "gullibility" of the people, especially our leaders, "A Roman governor named Pilate tried Jesus. He wanted to release Jesus. But when the Jews threatened to riot, Pilate condemned Jesus to death on a cross."
If you can't see any power in these sentences, then you should take English 101 in college, again.
