    criminal record for citation?

I would ask someone who knows on that one like a lawyer in maryland, I know for some people that it could be a death nail for there future career aspirations, If you were from california I would say, yes it will definately show up on your permanent criminal record, I know maryland has some of the toughest laws in the country so its probly about the same. even though they say its a "citation" it is definately not, you should fight this charge if you can dont just pay a fine (if thats what they want) any charges will show up on the criminal record check not on the dmv driving record.

well Im not a lawyer or anything, it would be a possession charge, but its really not that charge that sucks so much, its the fact when an employer pulls your criminal history report from the state (which nearly everyone does now-a-days except small employers) they will identify you as someone who is a A"druggie" and you will not be hired.
