    Ready For Harvest????

Hello Jetazz I'm probably one of the worst people to reply to you're post because I'm always guilty of harvesting prehaps a little too soon

I have read all the post about Trichs or whatever they are turning cloudy or amber but to be honest I don't know anything about that
I just go by the general look of the plant, when the pitsels are mostly brown and when some of the leaves start dying off.

Now would I harvest you're plant........................I think I probably would be thinking about it very soon, it has many brown pitsels, some of the leaves are browning and it looks nice and resinous.

This is only my opinon J, so don't take it that it is definietely ready

    Ready For Harvest????

with all due respect for Mands opinion and pretty new myself I can just tell you a good rule of thumb, " if you think its ready to harvest wait two more weeks".

Looking at the trichomes is the most accurate but it too takes a lil practice IMO.

    good luck

    Ready For Harvest????

Thanks for the help mand and Bill. The trichromes on the leaves appear to be clear but the pistels are 80% brown. Another thing I think that the plant might have turned hermie on me. About an hour ago I was doing my usual inspesction and I found what look like balls. It is in the same closet as another female that is no where near being done yet but I really dont mind if I end up with some seeds. What confuses me is that apparentally sativa's take longer to flower which this plant appears to be and also I'm using fluorescent lights which is supposed to add even more time to flowering. The plant also hasn't really got any taller in the past 7 days.

I ordered a 400w hps that should be here by tuesday at the latest that I'll use to finish my other plant.

I guess I'll leave the plant for now. So when the trichromes are cloudy it is time for harvest?

Below is a pic that is hopefully clear enough to tell if those are pollen sacs.

Hello Jetazz Tell you what love this is getting really intresting.

What I can see from the pic is that it looks like there may be a couple of seeds there, again don't hold me to that it'a diffficult to tell from a pic, if I saw the plant in the flesh then I would know for sure

I can't see anything from the pic that ressembles a male flower, but that is just from the pic.

Right J, I can only say what I would do now, I am not saying it is what you should do, I'm not that knowledgable on the technical side, I just grow for the end result .................smokeable weed

Ok what I would do, harvest that plant now and finish the other with the HPS

See what others suggest though J, that is only my opinion and what I would do.

Oh by the way J if that one is a hermmie ????.........then it will pollunate the other plant as well

    Ready For Harvest????

O.K, I thought those were male flowers. I've found out exactly what a male flower looks like so tomorrow I'll look over both plants (lights are off for the day) and let you know what I find.

I guess we'll just wait and see what others have to say about whether to harvest it.

    thanks mand

    Ready For Harvest????

Hello Jetazz Well if you're talking about what I can see on the pic I'm pretty sure that they are seeds forming in their pod.

Heres a pic of a male and female flower I found on another thread

yep I've got seeds but no male flowers anywhere on the plants, maybe a neighbour of mine is growing and his pollen came in my window?
