that plant is beautiful!! and yes it was pollinated, harvest that sucker when your pistils are 80-85% brown. If you still have some clear pistils that's ok. cut it anyway!!

I really like that pic that metalhead posted because it shows you the color of the tricholmes and the color of the pistills. Ide use that pic and a 50x magnifying glass

thanks for the photo metalhead based on that I'm probably still 5-7 days away, the hairs at the very top of main cola are orange but the rest arent completely ready yet and none of the trichromes are cloudy.

Also I have taken a very small sample from the lowest branch, the smoke is sweet tasting and packs a real, real good punch. The sample I cut off weighed less than .1 grams dried and it still got me fucked up :dance: It is definately a true sativa, total cerebral high.

Attached is an updated pic of what it looks like now (for some reason I couldn't get a clear picture of the whole plant)

The plant has kind of seemed sick since day one, (appeared to have mg deffiency off the bat but epsom salts did nothing to help) I put it into flower quite early (5 in tall) and now has topped out at 13in. It kind of looks like a lowryder but it's not. in the past week she has put on more girth and white hairs are still popping out all over the place. As you can see there are no fan leaves at all left, is this bad?


based on the height being 13 in the pic can anyone guess what the yield be? I gently squeezed the cola and it felt very dense
I think I'd be lucky to get 15g

You can only tell when the peak harvest time is by viewing the Trichomes with a 30x pocket microscope. There are 2 FAQ one tells you want to look for and the other one has pictures of trichomes. At this time there are no pictures of a mature trichome but they are coming soon. You don't harvest by the pistils they are going to die and change color by design in nature. You can only tell the peak by viewing the trichomes and if anybody else's say's you judge by pistils they are full of shit!!!!

You can see from this picture that the pistil has died and the color has changed. The trichomes are still not cloudy yet and there is no amber color showing in any of them. This is not ready to harvest yet and still needs more time. You harvest on the average of the trichomes in your view window. You check many places all over the plant and when you see about 10-20% amber the rest should be cloudy then it's time to harvest.
