Went for a DOT drug screening, used the swap method but from sitting too long the swap urine got cold, so i pissed on the strip to try to raise the temp and when i went to wipe the thermomater off it smudged the strip that tells the temp on it. anyways they rejected the sample i told them i just pissed all i had i cant piss anymore, so they sat me down and told me start drinking water, well i drank at least 30 40 12oz cups of water while i waited to try to piss, anyways i basically want to get opinons on what you think the chances of coming out "clean" is gonna be. 6 foot tall 220 lbs somewhat active heavy smoker i smoked the day before also of course not knowing my swap was gonna backfire, i pissed out clear no bubbles even looked like pure water, they tested it for like calcium n some other shit with a strip to make sure it was "real" after the guy watched me piss the 2nd time...........so long story short if i was flushed out from the morning and drank all that water just to piss think it will be diluted enough to still pass?

Hmm SOL? Yup. Just kidding, I really have no idea.What is this piss test for might I ask?

I work for the IL D.O.T..........we get tested every so often, i didn't have enough of a heads up to clean up like i usually do........but if dillution works then at least them making me drink all that water might at least give me a shot in hell to come out neg. if not oh well i get suspended for a week and then im gonna be subject to more random testing. rather not have all the hassles of that

I passed 5 in a row for DOT after being caught once, just by dilution and nothing else. I smoked a lot all along too. It was the 6th and final one that got me. I was polluted and not diluted and wasn't ready for it. So, I refused to take it and long story short, I don't do CDL driving anymore. It wasn't worth it anyway.

I just don't need them making an "example" out of me and firing me is all, im not gonna worry whatever happens happens but the money is excellent i'm only 26 and been working there 5 years now and this job is nearly impossible to get anymore cause of the lovely governor of IL. oh well i'm gonna just wait n smoke till i get my results then deal with it then. thanks
