Sorry to hear about the breakup; nothing interesting to report here, either.

I bought the rhodonite, and I've got a new vertical mill that can handle stainless easily, so it's just a matter of time. Got my first high-end custom half finished for a guy here in the U.S., and another one just commissioned for a collector in Italy, so I'm busy for the moment. My hand is healed up really good, and I'm sporting a trendy new scar. And, working a lot more carefully now. Life is good.

I like to get out a big glass bowl, dump about $10.00 worth of pennies in it, and let the little trickers reach and grab. They seem to like it, and the average kid hand can only clutch thirty or forty cents worth, if that.

Clever, the two knives I'm working on are nickel silver frame/turquois scales, brass frame/lapis lazuli scales. They both have a new blade grind I'm developing as sort of a trademark style.

Yes the stories behind the scars. This latest one is full of intrigue, romance, betrayal, untold wealth, and exotic foreign lands; I was reaming a steel plate, and forgot to make sure all the clamps were tight. That would make one exciting movie, don't you think? As for the one on my shoulder shaped like a small, jagged piece of a Russian tank, that one's pretty boring.
