that's exactly what parenting is, torog. it's your duty as a responsible parent to take a few minutes out of your day to talk to your kids about how you feel and how THEY feel, not just assume you're doing the best thing for them by censoring stuff from them.

sex is human nature. do you think by stopping your son from watching porn, he's less likely to jerk off? by stopping him from smoking, he's not gonna sneak and do it?

i highly doubt anyone is going to run a sex toy store (for kids that is ) and if its in a coffee shop, then of course there's age restrictions.

Like I told nicholas,I simply want America to be a good and decent place to raise our children..I don't want to go overboard and stifle free speech..but why should parents have to explain to their children,what a live sex show is and why there's one in the back of the toy store or the donut shop. It was bad enuff,during Clinton,that millions of parents had to explain to their children,what oral sex is..when those children should not even be thinking about sex at their age. America,does not need to devolve to the level of european countries,in order to protect 'free speech'..we should be good role models for our children,not shoving sex into their faces,at every turn.

parents have to explain to their children all the time, most of the time the kid already knows.
if you want it good and decent, then be good and decent yourself, it must start with you, and you cannot foist your morals on anyone, being good and decent as you are.
i don't know how many kids you got, i got lots at least four who claim me as dad, every one of them when growing up went through a sex thing, the girls played sexy with the boys and the boys got little hard on's and chased the girls. they were not told it was bad, today they are all well adjusted happy adults with children of their own. it is not a bad thing, God watches porno, and it ain't on the net, he/she has his/her own screens. look around the next time you are having sex you will see God and he/she will see you, better do a good job.

Yup..that's right..cept I don't actually read any papers at this time,I git most of my info off the net,like at FreeRepublic . com and a couple of others,of a similiar vein. I'm an old-fashioned values type,born and raised in the conservative parts of Texas,and went to a conservative Christian church.

It's a proven fact,that in most instances,sex shows attract alot of bad characters,that begin bringing communities down to their debaucherous level-as well as lead to greater incidences of STD's and the spread of aids/hiv. Why should our children be exposed to all of that-just for the sake of allowing sexually obsessive people to insert their ugly world into a good and peaceful community ?

This is my country too and I'll be danged if I have to be ashamed to walk down the street with my children..this ain't an adults-only world..the children have to live here too.
