Wow i'm in a very similar situation. It's way fucking confusing. Anyway; I totally love the girl, she totally loves me, but we aren't officially going out because her parents hate me (pothead rumors). It fucking sucks!

i've got a friend like that too. we don't love each other or anything, and we're not boyfriend and girlfriend, but we hold hands and make out and mess around together. we have been hanging out and smoking together everyday for like 2 weeks now and it's pretty cool. it's not confusing really, it's just that we hang out in a group of like 100 people that know each other, so gossip spreads and we've both been involved with people that we all know so it's better not to start drama. i dunno if that's what the other chicks do, but it's how i've been for awhile. don't question it and just go with the flow.
