    security question

Ok, I looked around the forum but couldn't find anything on a kinda obvious question - How do I know that the dude who is offering to hook me up here is not a cop? Do they have a legal basis to set you up like that, assuming you are the one who is looking for some in the first palce?
    Any replies would be appreciated.

if you're that concerned/paranoid about the other person being a cop beat the streets and find someone that way. if it's pipes and shit they're legal unless they're dirty.

and if your worried about him selling to you to get you caught then the most important thing is to just ask if they are a cop before you buy. lying to you can be considered entrapment which is against the law as well.

I'm afraid that's a myth, and it's a very commonly repeated one, too. If you research this thoroughly (or talk to law officers who work in drug enforcement), you'll learn that they can and do lie all the time about this sort of thing. And it's not considered entrapment at all. It's considered a functional part of helping them do their jobs. A means to an end, in other words. This rumor about their not being allowed to lie if you ask them straight out whether they're a cop is a dangerous one, and it's been debunked many hundreds of times in other areas of this site.

If you're worried that the person is a possible cop, the only safe thing to do is not to put yourself at risk of a bust until you know otherwise. This is why it's always advisable not to do business with strangers but with someone who has references from another trusted source.

Theres enough dealers out there that you don't need to buy through this site. If you get a good offer here then it's probally too good to be true.
