That's a pretty bold thing to say. How old are you?

In my opinion, soft drugs should be legal, and the penilty for posession of hard drugs should be a manditory month plus stay in a treatment facility. If all drugs were legal, there would be many more problems in the states. How can the goverment control hard drugs? Are you gonna walk into a drug coffeeshop (like they in amsterdamn), sit down, have a muffin and then shoot some heroin? Or, will you choose the bagel, a pepsi and a few hits of dust? oh, don't mind the three 18 year olds on the ground wiggling around with foam comming out of their mouths, they just OD'd on coke, sweep them into the street.

Coke has always been fasionable and in the mainstream, no one can help or change that. But when your talking about legalizing harder shit like dust, heroin, meth, these drugs have a certain "fear" factor if you will, that puts off the majority of youth from doing it. If you make it possible for 18 year olds, 21 year olds, etc etc to get into these drugs with the idea it's legal and accepted, youth is gonna die man. any of that make sense?

If acid was legal, people would be walking into traffic and off cliffs all day long. I think it's really good that acid is illegal myself, as well as the fact that it's usually a rarity for the most part. I know if I were a parent, I wouldn't want my 13 year old droppin 5 tabs just because it was easy and legal to get.

Ah yes, the old "if it was legal everyone would run out and do it" theory. Would you? Would you suddenly drop acid and walk off a cliff if it was legalized? The fact is that the people that would do it, do it now. The laws don't stop them. It's like you think everyone would drop what their doing and run out to buy some drugs if they made them legal. You guys are using the same mentality that drug warriors use for weed. The same crap was said about booze during the prohibition years also. People that want drugs will find a way to get them whether they are legal or not. The drug war is a scam in all it's forms. You guys that are crying to keep it illegal are crying to keep the failed, Freedom killing, prison filling, BULLSHIT drug war alive. Good point libertarian toker. I don't really know if anyone who wouldn't already do acid would try it if it were legalized. But I do know acid is dangerous. I'm with the other person who stated they were only for the legalization of softer drugs. I don't know about you but I would much rather be hanging with a pothead than someone who is always on an acid trip. Not that my friends don't do acid. They do on occasion. But if it were legal they would do it more often because it would be more readily available. Just as if weed were legalized. I don't toke if I have something to do such as pay a speeding ticket or go to a family dinner or work. But if it were legal yeah i would toke up in places that I normally don't because of fear of getting caught. I just don't think the legalization of hard drugs is a great idea.
