air fare to las vegas is cheap from damn near any spot on the globe (deals thru a travel agent can even get ya dirt cheap deals booking on unsold charter seats and many planes get chartered out here) then rent a houseboat on lake mead. during peak season (late spring thru early fall) rates run around 1600/week but sleeps 12 comfortably with room for twice that easily if among good friends which would make the week cheap for everyone while staying in a luxurious houseboat with ALL the toys! 12 people kicking in 200/person (plus transportation) would allow for a most excellent week of living high on the lake. weekend deals are also available for around 700 bucks. there are also cheaper and smaller ones at the lake mead marina's so any number of people can be handled. lake mead is huge and easy to find secluded spots plus nevada decrimmed over 5 years ago when we legalized med use. so there's something else to put on your dream-on list...
