    plant genetics

just as a stoned though could there be a way to increase the startch/suger/chlorophyl levels in leave by genect enginering? as then the plants would absorb like 3x as much light->engery->food as b4 thus growing incredibly fast?

    just a thought

You dont need to, give the plants more homones such as auxens ect and they will stimulate the plant to grow faster therefor requiering it to make more chloroplasts.

Chloroplasts creat glucose (sugar) and this is stored in the plant as starch.
