Im 26. It was specifically prescribed to help counter the lethargic effects of lexapro. I complained to my doctor that I have been having great difficulty with get up and go, and that the drug seemed to be making even the simplist of tasks feel like they are impossible for me to complete, and I often dont complete them. Never was everyday tasks a problem for me before as Im OCD, and thats why the lex was prescribed in the first place. Problem is its working too well.

I was told the side effects would be somewhat speedy, jittery, and possible nervousness. And that my concentration and energy should significantly increase.

Ive been experimenting with the dosage of Amphetamine these past couple of days and I think the problem initially was too low of a dose, or, like Edgar offered, that maybe I just wasn't really feeling it or used to it yet. When I take 10-20 mg I am still and calm, like a took a good muscle relaxer, almost. When I go up to about 25-40 mg, I definitely notice a speedier effect, and if I decide to concentrate on a task, I notice its much easier for me to complete it and do a good job as well. I think I might need an even higher dose than 40 mg, but I'll discuss that with my doc before I try it myself.
I really would like this drug to work for me for not only the focus and extra energy aspect of the med, but also the euphoric effects are very very nice, and are especially intense after smoking a bowl or 2.
